The Gambia enjoys a tropical climate with practically no rainfall between November and June
The heaviest rainfall is during August and September (although it rarely rains all day even then) transforming the country in to a haven of green punctuated by brightly coloured flora and fauna - although you might need ear plugs to drown out the sound of the thunder storms during the night!
For those anglers amongst you, you might like to know that we have had our best fishing during the June to November period - just check out our Recent Catch Information! PLUS, most of the bumsters disappear during the 'off-peak- season' - and that in itself must be a good reason for visiting The Gambia at this time of the year!!!!
