Luke with the first catch of the year 3rd January. Jeff, the one pointing commented " no Luke that was the bait we were using".

 

With the performance that Jeff and Luke put in the day before Kaddi & I went out for the day and within twenty minutes of anchoring just off Cape Point 'Bang'. The ray took a whole bonga fillet with 8/0 hook. We landed the fish around 11:00 and by the time we weighed it in at Denton Bridge at around 15:00 it tipped the scales at 34 kg.

Maurice, back again only managed a couple of days fishing due to his charity work. He's back again in November.
